Our trip to Disneyland!

Welcome to Disneyland!!! Here are some photos from our trip to Disneyland. Gene and I had a great time. This picture is at the front gates of Disneyland. Everything on the green area is made of real flowers, it is always changing and always beautiful.

Being the fireman Gene is he had to get this picture of the Disneyland Fire dept band playing in front of the Disneyland Fire Hall.

This is a picture I took at California Adventure near Paradise Pier. It was supposed to be in color but the camera got switched to black and white by accident. This is one of my favorite pictures.

Gene and I at Disney's California Adventure. We are all wet from a log ride we just got off of, but it was fun!

This is always one of my favorite spots at Disneyland. It is a statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse and you can see the castle behind them.

Hello Mickey!

Gene and I have always gotten our picture taken with Mickey, so why should this trip be any different?

Halloween finally arrived and the girls were ready to go! Stephanie thought getting 'trick or treats' was lots of fun but she was done after about 10 houses. Rachel on the other hand lasted alot longer than that. She was very excited when she got home with all her candy. 

Halloween afternoon Stephanie and I put the candy for the trick or treaters in a bowl. I told her she wasn't allowed to have any because it was for the kids...so she played with the candy for about 30 minutes. I guess playing with it was as good as eating it for her! 

Stephanie made this spider hat at playschool on Friday, she was so proud of herself. I thought it was so cute...the ladies at playschool are great! 

Our recent trip to Saskatchewan was lots of fun. Rachel got to go fishing for the very first time (Thanks Grandpa) and she got her first fish. Needless to say she loved it. I think she almost had a heart attack when Gene told her she had to clean the fish! She didn't want to have anything to do with the fish after she reeled it in...it was a struggle for us to even get a picture with her and her big catch. Such a girly girl!!  

Not to be out done, Stephanie had to have her turn at holding the fish. She would have held the fish without the line if we would have let her...how different our girls are!! 

Happy 40th Mom and Dad. On August 19th we had a surprise party for Gene's parents, and what a party it was. Everyone had a great time. This is a picture of us with Gene's parents the day after the party. 

Here is our latest family photo. We are at Gene's parents house in Fraser Lake, this is the view from their deck. 

While in Fraser Lake Grandpa and Granny took us out on their boat and everyone had a great time. We spent over 3 hours on the lake touring around. Rachel loved driving the boat into shore best of all! 

Stephanie also had a great time on the boat, after she got used to her lifejacket!  

I put up the slip and slide yesterday so the girls could cool off, it was fun to watch them together. Of course Stephanie tried to repeat everything Rachel did, but managed to fall on her bum ALOT!! Oh well she had a great time anyway! 

Stephanie is trying to fill her watering can with water, she did a great job. But she figured that if she held the hose there for 3 seconds the can should be full!! 

One day Stephanie found Rachel's sticker book and took out the stickers and put them on herself. I guess she wanted to be just like the book.

Our 'baby' is two already! Stephanie's 2nd birthday was celebrated at our house with friends. Our friends came for supper and cake...and of course there was presents too!

This is the beautiful dress Stephanie got for Easter...I think it looked much cuter in person. 

Here is Stephanie drawing on the egg...good thing they are hard boiled!! She had such a good time she didn't even notice she didn't get to touch the dye! 

It's Easter!! Here Rachel is coloring Easter eggs!! This is something Rachel asks to do every year.
